Formed in 1935, the Dan Leghorn
Engine Company No. 1 of the
Orange Lake Fire District has
been proudly providing fire
protection to the Town of
Newburgh for over 70 years
A
100% volunteer organization we
respond to over 400 calls for
service annually in District and
in the Orange County, NY Mutual
Aid system in Battalion 3.
We proudly possess six pieces of
Fire/Rescue apparatus which
includes two pumpers, one heavy
rescue, one brush truck, a fire
police van and a hovercraft all
housed in our beautiful fire
station.
